This sketch was painted in about an hour and a half from a combination of photo references. It was painted while I was chatting on the phone with a fellow painter, a good friend, and I was interested to note that being relaxed and chatting about miscellaneous subjects of mutual interest created a sort of ease that kept the left side of the brain and the accompanying voice of the critic quiet long enough to get down the important information. It was an interesting excercise.
