I am quite engaged in doing these citrus studies, this time grapefruit being the fruit of choice. Anthing I can shine light through interests me. Once more I have employed the use of a sheet of glass with a white cloth underneath it. I am having some fun with the way the values are altered in the reflections due to the cast light and the white cloth underneath the reflections. It is really challenging me to look carefully and paint what I see, not what I think I know.
